Jane Monteith - Canvas Prints

Jane Monteith is a self-taught mixed media collage artist who immigrated from England to Canada in 1981. Her work is created with fluid inks and acrylics to produce contemporary style patterns layered on wood panel finished with resin, Jane's organic approach to collage has been inspired by both color and patterns from the 1970s, and more recently, the simplicity of rock formation found in nature. Focusing on texture, each element being created on its own before coming together to form one cohesive piece.
